Stuff We Love: Andalou Naturals

My obsession with Andalou Naturals products began three years ago when I decided it was time to give my medicine cabinet an overhaul. My mission: Go Green and as natural as possible without compromising quality and breaking the bank.

photo 3I spent an hour in the health and beauty isle reading labels and testing products. The options were endless and overwhelming. Andalou’s claim to use fruit stem cell science, an anti-aging technology used by many high end cosmetic lines, caught my attention.

I have acne prone skin, so it was important to pare down my skincare products to the bare essentials and hope for minimal flareups. My introduction to Andalou began with the Ultra Sheer Daily Defense Facial Lotion with SPF 18, Meyer Lemon Creamy Cleanser and Blossom + Tea Leaf Refreshing Toner.  After a week of use my skin was clearer, softer and brighter. I was pleased with the results and began to sample more of their fabulous skin and hair products.

In my past experience, some masks have dried out my skin so severely that days later I end up with red, blotchy, oily, acne-ridden skin.  Needless to say, I am very cautious and picky when it comes to scrubs and masks. So, my next purchase, which included the Lemon Sugar facial scrub, Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask, Avo Cocoa Skin Food Mask and Resveratrol Q10 Night Repair Cream, would either seal the deal or leave me running to the dermatologists office for relief. Well, Andalou did not disappoint. In fact, my acne breakouts became less severe and my skin responded so well to the new regime that scars slowly began to heal and fade.

photoThere are many reasons I have become such a big fan of Andalou products. First: my skin thrives and glows; Second: Andalou is all-natural (70% certified organic), cruelty-free, vegan, eco-friendly and certified non-GMO; Third: product quality is superb and price point is $20-$30 less than premium beauty brands that tout the same stem-cell science technology.  All the Andalou products I have sampled smell absolutely yummy, applies evenly, lightweight and absorbs well on this skin. For me, there is nothing worse than overpowering perfumed lotions and looking like a greased bodybuilder.

Andalou products are not exclusive to women. My husband absolutely loves the Citrus Verbena shower gel and sometimes will partake in my weekend home spa treatments.  Other favourites in our household include the Passion Fruit Body Butter which we use to moisturise my tired and achy feet after a long day’s work, Lavender and Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner for full bodied and shiny locks and the Lavender Shea Hand Cream to avoid dishpan hands.

Anadlou Naturals now offers starter or traveling kits for $19.99 which include 5 skincare products from their Clarifying, Age Defying and Brightening lines.  So, if you are on the hunt for superior quality, all-natural product at a reasonable price, look no further. Give Anadlou Naturals a try. Your skin will thank you!

Note: I am not an employee of Anadlou Naturals nor have I been paid to endorse their products. I’m just a happy, satisfied customer with nothing but great things to say about their amazing body, skin and haircare line.
